Gordon Silveria

Gordon is a native San Franciscan. He earned his BFA in Illustration in 1992, then his MFA in Sculpture from 2010. He joined the Academy of Art University as faculty for the Illustration Department in 1994, and directed the department for 7 years. Currently, Gordon is focusing on helping the Academy of Art integrate emergent technology into the curriculum for Illustration, Sculpture, Jewelry and Metal Arts and Fine Art. In addition, Gordon is the illustrator for The Greedy Triangle by Marilyn Burns, the most widely used math text in grammar schools everywhere.
